Construction Progress Update

Dear Neighbours and Community Members,

We are pleased to share that all blasting has been completed as of Saturday, October 25th.

‍

As we transition into the next stage of construction, we want to keep you informed about what to expect over the coming weeks.

‍

Construction Updates:

‍

• Blasting operations are complete
• Septic field installation is complete
• Sewer line installation and landscape seeding are taking place this week
• Footing formwork is underway
• Concrete pours begin this week
• Rock hammering to continue through this week, with smaller amounts occurring intermittently moving forward through November 21st.

‍

Traffic & Site Access:

‍

• Intermittent site access via Starlight Road will take place this week to complete the sewer line installation and landscape seeding.
• Structural fill material will be delivered to site, with peak loads of 15-20 truckloads per day on Hwy 3A until early December.
• Digital message boards will remain in place until the Christmas holidays to keep drivers informed.
• Truck activity will be focused on Highway 3A.
